Creating Your Organization

Your organization is your art business on Artbase Studio. It contains all your products, orders, customers, and settings. This guide walks you through creating and configuring your organization.

What is an Organization?

An organization represents your art business. It includes:

  • Your public storefront
  • Product catalog
  • Order management
  • Customer database
  • Email subscriber list
  • Analytics and reporting
  • Team members (if applicable)
Multi-Business Support

You can create multiple organizations if you run different brands or businesses. Each organization has its own subscription and data.

Creating Your Organization

Step 1: Sign Up or Log In

  1. Go to artbase.studio
  2. Click Get Started or Log In
  3. Create an account or sign in with existing credentials

Step 2: Create Organization

After signing in, you'll see the organization creation screen:

Business Name Enter the name of your art business. This appears:

  • On your storefront header
  • In email communications
  • On order confirmations

Example: Sarah's Art Studio, PixelPrint Co, Wildflower Illustrations

URL Slug Choose your unique storefront URL:

https://[your-slug].artbase.studio

Requirements:

  • 3-50 characters
  • Letters, numbers, and hyphens only
  • Must be unique (not already taken)
Choosing a Good Slug
  • Keep it short and memorable
  • Use your brand name or artist name
  • Avoid special characters
  • Consider how it looks in a URL

Step 3: Select Your Plan

Choose the subscription plan that fits your needs:

Step 4: Enter Payment

Enter your payment information to activate your subscription:

  • Credit or debit card
  • Processed securely via Stripe
  • Cancel anytime
Annual Savings

Save up to 30% with annual billing:

  • Starter: $99/year (save $45)
  • Growth: $249/year (save $99)
  • Pro: $449/year (save $139)

After Creation

Once your organization is created, you'll be taken to your dashboard. From here you can:

  1. Customize your storefront — Add your branding
  2. Add your first product — Start selling
  3. Connect channels — Import existing sales

Organization Settings

Access organization settings from SettingsOrganization:

Basic Information

  • Business name
  • URL slug (cannot be changed after creation)
  • Business email
  • Phone number

Branding

  • Logo
  • Brand colors
  • Storefront theme

Billing

  • Current plan
  • Payment method
  • Billing history
  • Upgrade/downgrade

Team

  • Invite members
  • Manage roles
  • Remove access

Guest Organizations

If you started in Guest Mode, your organization is marked as a guest workspace:

  • Full functionality for 7 days
  • Convert to paid organization anytime
  • All data is preserved when you convert
  • Workspace is deleted after 7 days if not converted
