Quick Start Guide

Get your Artbase Studio storefront up and running in just 5 minutes. This guide walks you through the essential steps to start selling.

Prerequisites

Before you begin, you'll need:

• An email address for your account
• At least one product (artwork, print, or digital file) ready to list
• Product images (recommended: at least 1 high-quality image per product)

Step 1: Create Your Account

1. Visit artbase.studio and click Get Started
2. Enter your email and create a password
3. Verify your email address

Guest Mode

Want to explore first? You can try Artbase in Guest Mode for 7 days without creating an account. Your work is saved and can be converted to a full account when you're ready.

Step 2: Set Up Your Organization

After signing in, you'll be prompted to create your organization (your art business):

1. Enter your business name — This appears on your storefront (e.g., "Sarah's Art Studio")
2. Choose your URL slug — This creates your storefront URL: yourname.artbase.studio
3. Select your subscription plan — Choose from Starter ($12/mo), Growth ($29/mo), or Pro ($49/mo)

Your storefront will be available at:
https://yourname.artbase.studio

Step 3: Add Your First Product

Navigate to Products in the Creator Hub app or dashboard:

1. Click Add Product
2. Fill in the product details:
   • Name — Your product title
   • Description — Tell customers about your work
   • Price — Set your selling price
   • Product Type — Original, Print, Digital, or Commission
3. Upload product images
4. Set inventory (or mark as unlimited for digital products)
5. Click Save & Publish

Step 4: Customize Your Storefront

Make your storefront reflect your brand:

1. Go to Settings → Storefront
2. Add your bio — Tell visitors about yourself
3. Upload a profile image or logo
4. Add social links (Instagram, Twitter, etc.)
5. Choose a theme color

Step 5: Test Your Checkout

Before going live, test the customer experience:

1. Visit your storefront at yourname.artbase.studio
2. Add a product to cart
3. Go through checkout (use Stripe test mode)
4. Verify the order appears in your dashboard

Step 6: Share Your Store

You're live! Share your storefront with the world:

• Direct link: https://yourname.artbase.studio
• Link in bio: Add to your Instagram, Twitter, etc.
• Email signature: Include in your emails
