Common questions about participating in the Artbase Gallery as a creator.
Eligibility
What are the requirements to join the Gallery?
To be listed in the Gallery, you need:
- Active paid plan (Starter, Growth, or Pro)
- Stripe Connect account with charges enabled
- At least 3 active products
- Complete profile with bio
How do I check my eligibility?
Go to Settings > Gallery in Creator Hub. You'll see:
- Which requirements you've met
- What's still needed
- One-click enrollment when ready
Can I join with a free/trial account?
No. Gallery participation requires an active paid subscription.
Enrollment
How do I join the Gallery?
Once you meet all requirements:
- Go to Settings > Gallery
- Click Join Gallery
- Confirm enrollment
- Your products appear within minutes
Can I choose which products appear?
Yes. Only products marked as "active" appear in the Gallery. Set products to "draft" to hide them from the Gallery while keeping them on your storefront.
How long until my products appear?
Products typically appear within 5-10 minutes of enrollment.
Commission & Fees
What fees does the Gallery charge?
Gallery uses the same commission as your plan:

Are Stripe fees additional?
Yes. Stripe charges ~2.9% + $0.30 per transaction, regardless of your plan.
When do I get paid?
Payments are transferred to your Stripe account automatically:
- After order is placed
- Minus commission
- Per your Stripe payout schedule (usually 2 days)

How do Gallery orders work?
- Customer orders through Gallery
- You receive notification
- Fulfill order from Creator Hub
- Add tracking when shipped
- Customer receives updates
Do Gallery orders appear in my dashboard?
Yes. Gallery orders appear in Orders with a "Gallery" badge.
What if a customer orders from multiple artists?
Each artist:
- Gets their own notification
- Fulfills their items separately
- Ships with their own tracking
- Receives their portion of payment
Visibility
How do customers find my products?
Products appear in:
- Gallery homepage (if featured)
- Search results
- Category browsing
- Curated collections
- Artist profile page
Can I be featured on the homepage?
Yes. Gallery admins select featured artists and products. High-quality products and active sellers are more likely to be featured.
Does the Gallery help my SEO?
Yes. Gallery pages are indexed by search engines, providing additional discoverability beyond your storefront.
Leaving the Gallery
Can I leave the Gallery?
Yes. Go to Settings > Gallery and toggle off Gallery presence. Your products will be removed within minutes.
What happens to pending orders?
You must fulfill any orders placed before leaving. Access them in your Orders dashboard.
Can I rejoin later?
Yes, as long as you still meet the requirements.
Attribution
What is attribution tracking?
When someone discovers you through the Gallery and later visits your individual store, we track this for 30 days. This helps you understand how Gallery drives traffic.
Do I pay commission on attributed sales?
No. Sales on your individual storefront only incur your normal plan commission, not Gallery commission.
Where do I see attribution data?
Go to Analytics > Gallery to see:
- Gallery views
- Click-throughs to your store
- Attributed sales
