Shopping Cart

The Artbase Gallery cart lets you shop from multiple artists in a single checkout. Here's how it works.

Adding Items​

From Product Pages​

  1. Browse to any product in the Gallery
  2. Select your options (size, color, etc.)
  3. Click Add to Cart
  4. Continue shopping or proceed to checkout

Quick Add​

On collection pages, click the cart icon on any product to add it directly.

Viewing Your Cart​

Access your cart by:

  • Clicking the cart icon in the navigation
  • Going to /gallery/cart

Cart Contents​

Your cart shows:

  • Product thumbnail and title
  • Selected variant (size, color, etc.)
  • Artist name
  • Price per item
  • Quantity selector
  • Remove button

Multi-Artist Orders​

The Gallery supports shopping from multiple artists:

Per-Artist Shipping​

Each artist calculates shipping separately based on:

  • Your location
  • Number of items
  • Free shipping thresholds

Combined Checkout​

Despite shipping separately, you:

  • Pay once for all items
  • Get one confirmation email
  • Track all orders in one place

Updating Quantities​

Change Quantity​

Use the + and - buttons next to each item, or type a number directly.

Remove Items​

Click the trash icon or set quantity to 0.

Clear Cart​

Click Clear Cart to remove all items.

Cart Persistence​

Your cart is saved automatically:

  • Logged in: Cart syncs across devices
  • Guest: Cart saved for 30 days in browser

Proceeding to Checkout​

When ready:

  1. Review your cart items
  2. Check shipping estimates
  3. Click Proceed to Checkout
  4. Enter shipping details
  5. Complete payment

Troubleshooting​

Item Shows "Sold Out"​

If an item becomes unavailable:

  • You'll see a notice on the item
  • Remove it to continue checkout
  • Check if other variants are available

Price Changed​

If a price changes after adding to cart:

  • Current price is shown
  • Original price struck through
  • You pay the current price

Can't Add Item​

Common reasons:

  • Item is sold out
  • Maximum quantity reached
  • Item not available to your location
