After completing your purchase, you'll receive confirmation and can track your order. This guide explains what happens next and what to expect.
Confirmation Email
What You Receive
Within minutes of ordering, you'll get two emails:
1. Gallery Order Confirmation
- From: orders@artbase.studio
- Order number (starts with "G-")
- Items ordered (grouped by artist)
- Shipping addresses
- Total charged
- Estimated delivery dates per artist
2. Stripe Payment Receipt
- From: receipts@stripe.com
- Payment confirmation
- Total charged
- Last 4 digits of card
- Receipt link for records
If you don't receive confirmation within 10 minutes, check spam/junk folders. Add orders@artbase.studio to contacts to ensure future emails arrive.

Per-artist statuses may differ in multi-artist orders.
What Happens Next
Artist Notification
Immediately after your order:
- Artists Notified: Each artist receives your order
- Order Review: Artists verify product availability
- Preparation Begins: Artists package your items
- Shipping Label: Artists create shipping labels
- Pickup/Drop-off: Packages given to carrier
Timeline: Most artists ship within 1-3 business days.
Your Notifications
You'll receive emails when:
- ✅ Order confirmed (immediate)
- ✅ Each artist ships (with tracking)
- ✅ Packages out for delivery
- ✅ Packages delivered
- 📧 Artist messages you
Notification Settings:
- Account → Settings → Notifications
- Choose email, SMS, or both
- Set frequency preferences
Order Changes
Before Shipping
Can You Modify:
- ❌ Add items (place separate order)
- ❌ Remove items (contact artist to cancel)
- ⚠️ Change address (contact artist ASAP)
- ⚠️ Cancel order (contact artist immediately)
How to Request Changes:
- Go to order page
- Click "Contact Artist"
- Explain needed change
- Artist responds within 24 hours
Once shipped, address changes are usually impossible. Contact artist immediately if you need to change anything.
After Shipping
Cannot Change:
- Shipping address (package in transit)
- Items in package
Can Still:
- Contact carrier to hold at facility
- Refuse delivery (returns to artist)
- Coordinate with artist for reshipment

Receiving Multiple Packages
What to Expect:
- Separate packages from each artist
- Different shipping carriers possible
- Different delivery dates likely
- Individual tracking per package

Dec 15: Package from Sarah arrives
Dec 18: Package from Bob arrives
All Packages Required: Your full order isn't complete until all artists ship.
