Orders & Shipping

How long does shipping take?

Shipping times vary by artist and location:

  • Domestic (US): 3-7 business days
  • International: 7-21 business days

Each artist sets their own shipping policies. Check the product page for specific estimates.

Can I track my order?

Yes! Once your order ships, you'll receive a tracking number via email. You can also view tracking at:

  • The link in your confirmation email
  • /gallery/orders/[order-id] with your order ID

What if my order has items from multiple artists?

Multi-artist orders ship separately from each artist. You'll receive:

  • One confirmation email for the entire order
  • Separate shipping notifications from each artist
  • Individual tracking numbers per artist

How do I cancel an order?

Contact the artist directly through their storefront. Cancellation policies vary by artist. Orders that have already shipped cannot be cancelled.

Payments

What payment methods do you accept?

  • Credit/debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Discover)
  • Apple Pay
  • Google Pay
  • Link (Stripe's one-click checkout)

Is my payment information secure?

Yes. All payments are processed through Stripe, a PCI-compliant payment processor. Artbase never stores your full card details.

When am I charged?

Your card is charged when you complete checkout. For pre-orders, you may be charged at order placement or shipping, depending on the artist's settings.

Returns & Refunds

What is the return policy?

Return policies are set by individual artists. Check the artist's storefront or product page for their specific policy. Common policies include:

  • 14-day returns for unused items
  • No returns on custom/personalized items
  • Exchanges only

How do I request a refund?

  1. Contact the artist through their storefront
  2. Explain the issue
  3. Artist will process refund if approved

Refunds are processed to your original payment method within 5-10 business days.

What if my item arrives damaged?

Contact the artist immediately with photos of the damage. Most artists offer replacements or refunds for items damaged in shipping.

Account & Privacy

Do I need an account to shop?

No. You can checkout as a guest. However, creating an account lets you:

  • Track all your orders in one place
  • Save shipping addresses
  • Get personalized recommendations

How do I contact an artist?

Each artist's contact information is on their storefront page. You can typically reach them via:

  • Email (listed on their profile)
  • Social media links
  • Contact form on their store

Is my information shared with artists?

Artists receive your name, email, and shipping address to fulfill orders. They do not receive your payment details. Review our Privacy Policy for full details.

The Artbase Gallery is a curated marketplace featuring independent artists. It offers:

  • Multi-artist shopping cart
  • Curated collections
  • Artist discovery

Artists must meet these requirements:

  • Active paid Artbase subscription
  • Completed Stripe Connect setup
  • Minimum 3 active products
  • Complete artist profile

How does attribution work?

When you discover an artist through the Gallery and later purchase from their individual store within 30 days, that visit is tracked for attribution. This helps artists understand how the Gallery drives traffic to their stores.
